The Gospel Writer is written to help people understand the Bible and help them in the pursuit of Jesus Christ.

I write one or two messages each week on various subjects. Some messages are on what is happening in the world and the church. Some messages are political or social commentary. Some messages are just plain preaching or teaching. The goal of each message is to present a biblical Christian world view in hope that those who read will hear more than my words, but come to a greater understanding of God’s Word.

My passion is to educate and provoke Christians to fulfill the calling of God on their lives (which is always tied to the fulfillment of the Great Commission). I believe one of the greatest voids in our modern, western Christianity is the preaching of the gospel. Many churches just don’t seem to be focused on winning the lost and making disciples.

The Bible says in Isaiah 58:12, “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.”

My prayer is that The Gospel Writer will be part of the rebuilding and restoration work that the Holy Spirit is doing in the earth today. I believe that God wants the church to have greater impact, greater revelation and greater manifestation in the present than it did in the past.

My writing style and personality have been known to offend with bluntness and sarcasm, but normally it happens by telling the truth people do not want to hear or be reminded of. The motivation behind everything I write it is to provoke people to become more like Jesus and live the faith they profess to have.
